Conceived as a family home, the project responds to the need to combine tradition, functionality, and elegance in a space that exudes timelessness.
 

The design aims to capture the essence of the house: a home that should feel like a bright beach house in the summer, while retaining the rustic warmth that accompanies the winter months. With this vision, a contemporary language will be developed, blending classic notes with rustic touches to create an atmosphere that is both warm, elegant, and practical.
 

Materials will play a central role in the transformation: warm, dark-toned rustic wood to provide character, natural stone to connect the house with its Mediterranean surroundings, abundant linen for freshness and lightness, and dark bronze ironmongery to introduce a touch of sophistication and luxury. This combination of elements will bring to life a refined yet approachable home, designed both for everyday living and for hosting family gatherings and social events.
 

The layout will include two kitchens — one interior and one outdoor in the garden house — two living rooms, an attic converted into a study, and a traditional Basque "Txoko", conceived as the gastronomic and social heart of the home, where functionality meets tradition. Each space is designed to balance everyday comfort with social experience, reflecting the warm and welcoming spirit of the homeowners.
